UNICO - Università Internazionale Costigliole - was born from the impetus of academic research on Slow Finance from Matteo Basei Fantolino M.Sc.
In 2025 the signed protocol of intent with the Politecnico di Torino, Adriano Olivetti Leadership Institute (O LI), Guanxi Group, UnCorp, and a large group of entrepreneurs and independent researchers, has been established an international campus in Italy, in the Langhe Unesco site, at Mossione, Annunziata, Costigliole d'Asti.
UNICO means "uniqueness" and develops in continuity with the previous initiative of the Comunità Laudato Sì Francesco Fantolino at the Poderi Prunotto Fantolino with the ambition of bring to reality also in Piedmont region an initiative like H-farm.
UNICO's co-founders include Guido Saracco (former Rector of the Polytechnic University of Turin), P.G. Monateri (Professor of Comparative International Law at the University of Turin), and others, in continuity with the personal work at the Serendipity Society of Matteo Basei.
The project "UNICO A SE" born as an autonomous sector of activity of the non-profit association between: Guils42, the "Circolo dell'innovazione" of Turin, Nuova Accademia di Arti Scienze e Professioni, Eating City, OFF.Club ecc.
UNICO want to celebrate the uniqueness of everybody, and the need for personal research of meaning of life, with an inedited methodology or research that we call Ecotherodossity, soul of the Slow Finance philosophy.
